Acres Ready For 2020

Fremantle Dockers assistant coach Adam Read is excited about what new recruit Blake Acres is showing so far in the Dockers pre season.

"Blake is looking fantastic!” Read said on Sports Breakfast this morning. “He's a big man, a bit of a beast of a guy, and he's had a pretty good pre season start, running well in the 2km time trial."

Acres played seventy five games for St Kilda during his time there, and Read is confident the midfielder will be an important cog in Justin Longmuirs plans.

"He's been working with the midfield group, so expect to see him filter in through there, using his big body and his run to hopefully win that ball at the contest and break the game open."

Fremantle kick their season off against Essendon at Marvel Stadium on the 21st of March.
