Australia have been pummelled by New Zealand in the opening game of their World T20 Cup defence.
The Aussies were bowled out 111 in the 18th over in response to the Kiwis 3-200.
It's the first time that New Zealand have defeated Australia in any format of the game since 2009.
Player of the match Devon Conway belted 92 not out from 58 balls in the first innings of the game that included seven fours and two sixes to lift the side to their total.
Josh Hazlewood was the pick of the Australian bowlers claiming two wickets in his four overs.

The Aussie chase never got started as David Warner was bowled after a delivery deflected off his gloves onto the stumps in the second over of the chase.
No batsman was able to go on the with job as Glenn Maxwell finished with the side's highest score of 28 and skipper Pat Cummins who scored 21 and the only other player who face more than 17 balls.
Australia next face Sri Lanka in Perth on Tuesday, needing a near-perfect run from here on out to stand any chance of qualifying for the semi-finals.
