Aussies off to flyer in Davis Cup

Jordan Thompson and John Millman have given Australia a 2-0 lead in their Davis Cup clash against Brazil in Adelaide.

Thompson defeated Thiago Monteiro 6-4, 6-4 before Millman was staring down the barrel of a straight sets victory before producing a great escape.

Millman courageously conjured a break back before romping through the tiebreak without losing a point to go on and win 4-6, 7-6, 6-2.

Jon Peers and James Duckworth will play in the doubles on Saturday to attempt to clean sweep the tie and earn the Aussies a spot in the Davis Cup finals in Spain in November.
