Aussies ponder same XI

Australian coach Justin Langer has hinted at an unchanged XI for the second Test against Pakistan in Adelaide starting on Friday.

It's expected that Michael Neser, Cameron Bancroft and James Pattinson will all be released to play for their home states in the round of Sheffield Shield action also starting on Friday.

“The boys all played well (in Brisbane), they had a day off having finished in four days,” Langer said.

“We haven’t had a look at the wicket yet, we’ll make sure they get through training today.

“But my gut feel is we’ll probably go with the same XI.”
