T20 semis beckon for Aussies

Australia have made light work of the West Indies to win their way through to a semi-final berth.

David Warner smashed his way to an unbeaten 89 to charge the Aussies to victory with 22 balls to spare with eight wickets in hand.

Warner shared in a 124-run partnership for the second wicket with Mitchell Marsh, who scored 53 before he fell to the bowling of Chris Gayle, with the scores level.

West Indies had made 7-157 with Kieron Pollard top-scoring with 44 after Evin Lewis (29) combined with Gayle (15) in a quickfire opening partnership of 30 in 14 balls.

The Aussies finished second in group one behind England.
