Barrass signs five-year deal

Premiership defender Tom Barrass, has put pen to paper to sign for the West Coast Eagles until 2027.

The key defender was due to be a free agent at the completion of next season, but opted to be an Eagle for life.

Barrass, has been an integral part of the Eagles defence unit since their 2018 premiership.

Brad Shepherds recent unfortunate retirement plus Jeremy McGovern and Shannon Hurn approaching the twilights of their careers, the 26-year-olds role down back becomes even more important.

The five year mega-deal wasn’t the only signing out of the Eagles today, midfielder Luke Edwards committing to the club until 2024.
