Barrass undergoes foot surgery
Eagles defender Tom Barrass is set for more time on the sidelines after undergoing foot surgery.
General Manager of Football Craig Vozzo told SportsLine that the injury had lingered more than they would have liked.
"It's something that we've had to address." Vozzo said.
"We'll get him right and he'll be similar to Gov (Jeremy McGovern) in terms of his timeline, the late start, gradual build-up and get him ready for the start of the season."
McGovern is still in a moon boot after having heel surgery.
"He's progressing really well, surgery by all reports was successful."
"We are expecting after Christmas he'll be able elevate to do walk/jog then and then some more heavier running throughout January."
Brendan Ah Chee and Jamie Cripps are also on modified programs.
