Another highlight addition to the roster is Philadelphia 76ers guard Matise Thybulle, who will make his debut in the green and gold at the tournament.

Dante Exum and Josh Green are among others who will make their first national appearance at an Olympic Games, Nathan Sobey and Chris Goulding rewarded for outstanding seasons in the NBL with the selection in the squad.

Former Wildcats centre Nick Kay has been selected, having spent the past 12 months playing in Spain and more recently Japan.

The Boomers Olympic campaign tips off against Nigeria on July 25, with the squad now set to come together with the Opals in Las Vegas for a pre-Olympic training camp.
