Dockers star Kiara Bowers has won back to back club AFLW best and fairest awards.

The club held a private event on at President Dale Alcocks home on Friday evening.

Bowers polled 129 votes ahead of Ebony Antonio (95 votes), Hayley Miller (94 votes) and Gemma Houghton (91 votes rounding out the top four.

Fremantle Coach Trent Cooper said that Bowers was in their best players every game they played.

“Kiara was in our best, if not the best, player in every game and it was just a remarkable season where she produced each week at a really high level,” Cooper said.

“Even when she was injured during the middle part of the season, she managed to have a huge impact on the field.

“She not only plays well each week, but she lifts those around her and is a thoroughly deserving winner of the award.”

Kara Antonio was named best clubwoman while Mim Strom won the best first year player award.
