Bunbury Cup earns standalone Saturday meeting

Bunbury, Pinjarra and Kalgoorlie have all been awarded standalone Saturday features in the upcoming 2021 RWWA Thoroughbred racing calendar.

The Bunbury Cup and Bunbury Stakes will be run on the same day the Saturday after the long weekend on March 6.

The Bunbury Stakes is usually run as a midweek event.

Due to COVID- 19 the redevelopment of the Bunbury Turf Club has been placed on hold allowing meetings to go ahead in the South West.

Perth Racing will run the Supremacy Stakes on the Sunday at Ascot.

The Pinjarra Magic Millions will be held in February while the Kalgoorlie Cup is run in October.
