Carr departs Fremantle Dockers

The Dockers have announced that assistant coach Josh Carr is departing the club.

Carr's departure to Port Adelaide makes room for triple premiership Geelong Cat Joel Corey to be promoted from his development coach role.

General Manager of Football Operations Peter Bell wished Carr well on his return to South Australia.

“Josh has been a great servant for the club both as a player and coach and the impact he has had on our midfield group in particular will be felt for years to come.”

Griffin Logue, Ethan Hughes, Blake Acres and Rory Lobb have all requested trades out of the club.

Fremantle have denied Lobb's request however have indicated they would work to find suitable trades for the other three.

It was reported on Friday afternoon that Lobb failed to turn up for a compulsory end of season review scheduled for earlier in the day.
