Chiefs crowned Superbowl champs

The Kansas City Chiefs have won the Superbowl for the first time in 50-years.

Kansas scored a come from behind victory over the San Fransisco 49ers 31-20 in Miami.

With just nine minutes remaining the Chiefs trailed 20-10 before running in three touchdowns.

Superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named MVP and becomes the first player under the age of 25 to have a Superbowl ring and a MVP award.

Mahomes believes the team never lost faith.

"Everybody on this team, no-one had their head down. We believed in each other. That's what we preached all year long." Mahomes said.

Veteran coach Andy Reid won his first title in his career that spans two decades.
