Comanche claims line honours

Comanche has celebrated its third line honours victory after again conquering the Sydney to Hobart yacht race.

After an early prediction of arriving in Hobart on Saturday afternoon the crew crossed the line at 7:30AM on Sunday morning in a time of 1 day, 18 hours, 30 minutes and 24 seconds.

IntroTrack finished in second place after playing cat and mouse for the lead with Comanche throughout the race while nine-time line honours winner Wild Oats XI finished third.

Scallywag finished fourth after taking the lead at times from Comanche and IntroTrack.

A collision with a shark ultimately cost Scallywag a shot at line honours.
