Cricket to come together for Bushfire Bash

Ricky Ponting, Shane Warne, Alex Blackwell and Justin Langer will headline cricket's response to the bushfire emergency featuring in a T20 match as a curtain raiser to the BBL final on February 8.

Adam Gilchrist, Brett Lee, Shane Watson and Michael Clarke have also committed to be part of the match.

All match profits and funds will go directly to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.

More details will be announced in coming days.
