Djokovic set to play Australian Open

Novak Djokovic is set to be granted a visa that clears the way for him to compete in next year's Australian Open.

Djokovic was unable to play in last year's tournament over issues surrounding his COVID-19 vaccination status.

Since then Djokovic Lawyers have spent months trying to have the visa ban overturned.

Immigration Minister Andrew Giles will overturned his previous counterpart's ruling to ban Djokovic from the country for three years after his visa was cancelled.

Djokovic was deported "in the public interest."

The 35-year-old is chasing his 10th Australian Open title.
