Dockers back under Friday night lights

Fremantle will feature in Friday night football again this season, slated to face Richmond at Marvel Stadium in round 19.

As part of the fixture reveal for rounds 16-19 on Friday, the Dockers were handed their second Friday night match of the season after a 2121 day gap between Friday night games when they met North Melbourne at Optus Stadium in round eight, their previous match in the coveted timeslot in round 17, 2016.

West Coast will face opponents Richmond, Carlton, Hawthorn and St Kilda in Sunday clashes, reflective of their position on the table through the opening nine rounds.

Rounds 16 and 17 both feature Thursday night games, while Western Bulldogs and Melbourne’s second meeting since last year’s Grand Final will take place at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night in round 19.

The Dockers will face Port Adelaide (home), St Kilda (away), Sydney (home) before their clash with the Tigers, currently sitting at 7-2 in third spot on the AFL ladder.
