Dockers extend winning streak

The Dockers are undefeated in the AFLW after a thrilling three-point win in the top of the table clash against Collingwood.

Fremantle's defensive half was huge holding off a surging Magpies outfit in the final term to run out 5.3.33 to 4.6.30 winners.

Defenders Angelique Stannett, Philipa Seth and Laura Pugh were excellent, while midfielder Hayley Miller (13 and five clearances) mixed it with the Magpies best.

Kiara Bowers drove the second half attitude from the home side laying a game high 14-tackles.

Coach Trent Cooper was very pleased about the way his side went out their performance.

"The interchange was the only stat we won for the day … but we hung in there and I thought we actually played pretty well in the second half and controlled it as much as you can control it in those situations. I'm just really happy with how resilient we were." Cooper said.

Roxanne Roux, Ebony Antonio, Gabby O'Sullivan, Kate Flood and Ashley Sharp all kicked majors.

Fremantle are on the road for the first time this season next week taking on the Saints in Melbourne.
