Dockers make it a pre-season clean sweep

The Dockers will take bragging rights into season 2022 after back to back pre-season wins against the West Coast.


Fremantle ended up running the game out the better of the two teams scoring a 11.13.79 to 10.6.66 victory.


Having lost by 97-points last week, the Eagles showed they can be a lot better applying greater pressure and moving the ball better.


Tim Kelly was influential collecting 32 disposals and six clearances.

Andrew Brayshaw showed again why he continues to progress to being one of the best players in the competition while recruits Will Brodie and Jordan Clark combined for 47 disposals.


Fremantle now have two injury concerns ahead of round one with Rory Lobb sustaining rib/ hip soreness following a collision with teammate Sean Darcy in a marking contest.


Defender Nathan Wilson left the ground with a shoulder injury after crashing into Alex Witherden's leg whilst he chased the ball.


The Eagles came away from the game without injury.


Next stop round one, West Coast will host Gold Coast at Optus Stadium while Fremantle will travel to South Australia to face the Adelaide Crows.
