FFA refute "Hyundai are out" claims

FFA CEO James Johnson has quickly moved to dispel reports that car manufacturer Hyundai will withdraw from their A-League sponsorship when the contract ends in June.

Speaking on SportsLine Johnson said "we are currently in commercial negotiations with Hyundai" and are hoping to continue the the long standing relationship.

Hyundai have been the naming rights sponsors of the A-League since the competitions inception in 2004. With the sponsorship contract set to end in June, there have been reports that Hyundai will withdraw from their sponsorship moving forward.

Johnson stated he has "...not received any indication" as to whether they are either looking to renew or not renew the contract in the coming months.
