Former Dockers CEO off to the races
Steve Rosich has landed a new role as Victoria Racing Club's new chief executive.
Current CEO Neil Wilson will depart the role following the November's Melbourne Cup.
Rosich will become the 13th VRC CEO when he moves from Perth.
In a statement the VRC said they were confident he would engage with all stakeholders in the industry.
"Steve's experience in achieving outcomes in growth in club support, revenues and event experience will be integral to the VRC in continuing to deliver on its strategic plan to be the best racecourse and racing club, as well as presenting one of the best racing carnivals in the world."
Three new board members had also been appointed including Godolphin boss Vin Cox, sports media executive Dave Barham and experienced banker Michael Saadie – who will take their place at the club's June meeting.
