Former Lion returns to Sharks

Former Brisbane Lion Tom Joyce will return to his home WAFL club East Fremantle for the next two seasons.

Drafted at the end of 2018 with pick 40, Tom had an interrupted time at Brisbane where injuries and limited opportunity curtailed his progress.

EFFC Football Manager Brad Dodd said Joyce would be an excellent addition to the midfield.

“He is very good around stoppages and his exceptional hands should compliment our strong midfield group. Tom is a great kid, who is driven, works hard and we’re looking forward to him joining the squad when pre-season starts.”

Joyce will begin training with the Sharks on November 29.
