Glory confident of home games ahead

Perth Glory are expecting to still host home games at HBF Stadium this season in a fly in fly out model.

Speaking on SportsLine Glory CEO Tony Piganta said although he was waiting for advice from WA Police he believed home fans would see some action soon.

"Maybe early March, mid-March we could come home and play six or seven home games, we'll be playing home games I'm pretty sure we'll be playing games back at HBF but if the borders open up earlier that would be even better."

However, the club was still seeking advice from WA Police and expected to have that back in the coming days.

The Glory camp has also had a number of COVID positives cases over the past week and Pignata believed they were all getting back to normal health.

"It does take a while not only once you get over COVID but then get up to match fitness and get cleared by the medical staff and tick all the boxes etc but things are on track and we should be right to go on Sunday."

Perth are scheduled to play Central Coast Mariners from 2:45pm WST.
