Glory fixtures revised

Perth Glory's return to A-League action has been delayed by the best part of a week, the competition confirming new opponents for the club's next two matches on Wednesday.

Having been initially scheduled to play Melbourne City this Saturday at HBF Park the Glory will now meet Brisbane Roar at home on Friday February 26th (kick-off 6:05 PM) and Central Coast Mariners on Tuesday 2nd March, kick off at 6:20 PM.

The changes come after City were unable to play in Perth due to state border restrictions that would leave the Melbourne franchise with two weeks of quarantine to serve upon arrival, the match against Western Sydney Wanderers also scrapped.

Perth's last match was on Friday February 5th, a 2-1 victory over Adelaide United at Hindmarsh Stadium.

Upon return to Western Australia they were forced to serve their own two weeks of quarantine and self-isolation due to spending time in Victoria, which has been in lockdown recently due to a surge in coronavirus cases.

The Glory sit in sixth spot on the A-League table, with three wins and two losses from their five matches.
