Glory thumped in underwhelming display

Perth Glory have failed to hit the scoreboard in a 4-0 drubbing from Melbourne Victory.

Marcos Rojas found the back of the net twice while Andrew Nabbout and Elvis Kamsoba also scored.

It was a missed opportunity for Perth who could have moved into the top four with a triumph.

Coach Tony Popovic made no excuses in his post-game press conference.

"We got beaten by the better team today and just weren't good enough," Popovic said.

"We didn't start well and were poor with the fundamentals.

"In challenges they seemed stronger, they were quicker to the ball and they won a lot of second balls. "We've been inconsistent since we've been in the hub."

Perth now face Western Sydney Wanderers on Wednesday needing a point for a top six finish.
