Green suffers injury scare

Western Australian all-rounder Cameron Green has been substituted out of the day/night tour match against India with concussion, placing further doubt around Australia's XI for the opening Test of the series next Thursday.
Green was struck a frightening blow on the side of the head while bowling his seventh over of the match at the SCG, tail ender Jasprit Bumrah smashing a ball back in the air that burst through the 21 year old's hands.
The youngster immediately left the field for assistance, later substituted out of the match to play no further part.
The injury concern comes just six days out from the first Test of the series against India for Australia, who are already monitoring the fitness of young gun Will Pucovski, also sustaining a concussion against India in the first tour match at Drummoyne Oval earlier this week.
Green had firmed for a Test debut after an outstanding start to his Sheffield Shield career, having already scored four first class centuries in 19 games.
He added 125 not out at Drummoyne Oval earlier this week to further strengthen his claims, now facing a race against time to be deemed fit to make a debut in Adelaide.
Green had earlier in the day picked up Shubman Gill in the pink ball tour match, India all out for 194 in bowler friendly conditions.
Relative batting novice Jasprit Bumrah top scored with 55 not out batting at number ten, his highest first class score.
Sean Abbott and Jack Wildermuth each claimed three wickets for Australia A, the latter only called up to the squad 24 hours before the game as an injury replacement for Jackson Bird.
The woes continued for Joe Burns with the bat under lights, edging behind off Bumrah for a duck as the pressure builds on the Queenslander to hold his Test spot.
Indian captain Virat Kohli and star number three Cheteshwar Pujara were rested for the tour match, instead likely to head to Adelaide earlier than their counterparts to prepare for Thursday's Test match.
