Hagdorn joins Sports Breakfast



91.3 Sport FM is delighted to welcome award winning sports journalist Kim Hagdorn to the station, as a co-host alongside Jacob Landsmeer and Wayne Clark on Sports Breakfast.


Hagdorn, a former first class cricketer with Western Australia and stalwart of the South Perth Cricket Club has been a sports journalist for more than 30 years, writing extensively for the Sunday Times and working for Perth based radio station 6PR, winning several media awards for his reporting on AFL football and cricket.


Hagdorn joins Landsmeer and Clark on Sports Breakfast, which will now air from 5:30 AM through until 9AM Monday to Friday.


Sports Line with Jordan Scardetta is from 9AM through until midday, the Breakfast lunch roll featuring from 12PM to 1PM with the best bits of Sports Breakfast before the RSN hour (1-2 PM) courtesy of Racing and Sports Network 927 AM in Melbourne.


Peter Vlahos is in the chair from 2PM with the best of Sports Drive, before his show commences from 3PM until 6PM.


Hagdorn was thrilled to join the team at 91.3 Sport FM and Sports Breakfast.


“I’ve always had a great respect for Colin Minson and the Sport FM team, they produce outstanding radio for their loyal audience,” he said.


“I’m looking forward to tackling the big issues and chatting to the sporting names of Perth with Jacob and Wayne each morning.”


Station Chairman Colin Minson was pleased to have Hagdorn on board with 91.3 Sport FM.


“Haggers is a veteran of the industry and not afraid to challenge the status quo,” he said.


“No doubt there will be some strong discussions on air with Jacob and Wayne and our 91.3 audience.”

Hagdorn started yesterday January 18th as part of the Sports Breakfast program alongside Clark and Landsmeer, the show times trimmed to three hours for Sports Line and Drive with Breakfast three and a half hours.
