Hamp signs with West Perth

Anton Hamp has abandoned retirement plans and has signed with West Perth for the 2022 WAFL season.

Hamp who had posted on social media just days a go that his time had come has been lured to play on under former coach Darren Harris who is now at the Falcons.

West Perth and Claremont are set to negotiate an agreement in the coming days as Hamp's signature will cost his new club a transfer fee.

The Falcons have been busy in the off-season with inclusions Luke Meadows, Mark Hutchings, former Eagles defender Ben Johnson and East Perth's Mitchell Dobson.

WAFL fixtures will be announced in coming weeks.
