Ima Single Man causes boilover

Trainer Chris Gangemi has scored the biggest win of his training career when Ima Single Man burst the bubble of Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Gemma's Son to win the Karrakatta plate.

In a thrilling finish Ima Single Man held out fast finishing Watch Me Dance and Dark Assault to also hand Jockey Jordan Turner his first Karrakatta Plate victory.

Turner joins his dad, Troy on the Karrakatta Plate honour roll.

Gemma's Son went into the race as the $1.50 favourite and took up the running to lead most of the way but tired in the last 100m to finish fourth.
