Kitchin 'excited' to lead Subi again

Leigh Kitchin has been appointed Subiaco FC Captain for season 2020.

Joining him in the leadership group are Angus Litherland, Jordan Lockyer, Ben Newton, Lachlan Delahunty, Hayden Kennedy, Greg Clark and Ben Sokol.

The 30-year-old said its humbling again to lead the reigning premiers.

"It's a real privilege and honour to be captain of a football club like Subiaco and having the opportunity to do it again this year, something I was really excited about." Kitchin told SportsLine.

"All the players, coaching staff, board all vote on who they think is the best fit to lead the club that year."

"It gives you great confidence knowing that it's the players are the ones who want you at the helm."

The reigning Premiers begin their season against Swan Districts on Saturday April 4 at Steel Blue Oval.
