Lanning to take indefinite break
Australian women's cricket captain Meg Lanning has shocked the cricket world announcing she is taking an indefinite break from the game.
Lanning has decided to take time out due to personal reasons following a very heavy two and a half year schedule.
The 30-year-old said now was the right time to focus on spending time on herself.

“After a busy couple of years, I’ve made the decision take a step back to enable me to spend time focusing on myself.
“I’m grateful for the support of CA and my teammates and ask that my privacy is respected during this time.”
Lanning will miss the upcoming edition of The Hundred where she was due to represent the Trent Rockets.
