Leggett denied Sharks transfer

Cody Leggett will remain a Perth contracted player after an independent WAFL arbitrator ruled he was ineligible for a transfer to East Fremantle.

A WAFL statement read "The basis of the decision was that the player's contract is valid and binding, and that the interests of football would overwhelmingly be served by the player remaining at Perth Football Club."

It is unclear whether Leggett will line-up for the Demons in 2020.
