Marsh excited for new challenge

Former Scorchers batsman Shaun Marsh says he's excited for the next six-weeks at the Melbourne Renegades.

Marsh defected from the Scorchers to join now coach and former teammate Michael Klinger.

The 36-year-old admitted conditions at Marvel Stadium and GMHBA Stadium would be different to what he was used to.

"Yeah look it's obviously going to be different to what I'm used to back home." Marsh said.

"I've had some success at Marvel Stadium in the past it will hold me in good stead, I'm sure there going to be a bit lower and slower like all drop-in wickets.

Marsh will come up against his old side on Saturday in Perth in front of 50,000 orange fans.

"Yeah playing against my old mates is certainly going to be a bit strange. But once I cross the white line, I'll be going out there to try and beat them."
