Maxwell breaks leg in freak accident
Glenn Maxwell is expected to be sidelined for an extended period of time after suffering a broken leg.
Maxwell slipped while running in the backyard at a party on Saturday evening and his leg became trapped under another party guest.
It's understood Maxwell and the party guest were not intoxicated at the time of the freak incident.
Australia's selection chief George Bailey said in a statement that Cricket Australia would support Maxwell through his rehabilitation.

“Glenn is in good spirits It was an unfortunate accident and we feel for Glenn in the circumstances given he was in great touch in his last few games,” Australia’s selection chief George Bailey said.
“Glenn is a critical part of our white ball structure and we will continue to support him through his recovery and rehabilitation.”
Sean Abbott will replace Maxwell in the ODI squad set to face England in three matches beginning on November 17.
