Mott appointed England white ball coach

Australia's women's cricket team is on the look out for a new coach after Matthew Mott was announced as England's new limited overs mentor.

Mott will take charge of the 50-over and T20 formats and his appointment comes just days after Brendon McCullum was announced as the country's red ball coach.

Former known as the Southern Stars the Aussies are ranked number one in the one-day and T20 versions of the game.

Speaking on his appointment Mott said he was privileged to have led such an amazing group of people of the past seven years.

"I leave with a heavy heart but with so many wonderful memories.

"The on-field success is well documented but it's the lifelong friendships that I've formed that resonate most with me."
