NBL to return to RAC Arena

Perth Wildcats fans will get to see their side in action again later this month, with the NBL confirming the return of matches to RAC Arena in Perth following the conclusion of the NBL Cup.

With Premier Mark McGowan announcing that all states will be considered very low-risk on Monday March 15th pending no new outbreaks, 14 day quarantine will no longer need to be observed by travellers from interstate, paving the way for Trevor Gleeson's men to return to their home court.

They will meet the Cairns Taipans at RAC Arena on Friday March 19th, before facing the Adelaide 36ers the following Monday March 22nd.

Perth have been based in Melbourne since early February after Western Australia's five day lockdown forced their scheduled home matches against New Zealand to be postponed, having played two games in front of their home fans to start their season against the South East Melbourne Phoenix.

Both matches against the Taipans and the 36ers will start at 6:30 PM WST, with the Wildcats currently second on the overall table and top of the NBL Cup ladder with four matches still to play.

Crowds will now be capped at 75 per cent following the State Government's announcement on Friday.
