Gemmas's Son lives up to hype

Short priced favourite Gemma's Son lead from start to finish to be crowned the Magic Millions WA 2YO winner at Pinjarra Park on Saturday.

The victory confirmed his big potential and handed trainer David Harrison a record fourth triumph in the feature.

Surveillance battled hard to finish second to become the first all-female owned horse across the line in the race to win a $60,000 bonus while Watch Me Dance finished third.

Gemma's son will now be targeted for the Karrakatta Plate at Ascot on April 4.

Cryptic Wonder with WA's leading jockey William Pike aboard claimed the $150,000 Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy.
