Pre-season fixtures released



The AFL has released the fixtures for the 2021 Marsh Community Series pre-season competition, with 18 games in 18 days across February and early March.


All club will play two games over the best part of three weeks to prepare for the 2021 AFL season, which will revert to a traditional 22 game home and away season over 23 rounds.


Matches will be played at local and regional venues including: Manuka Oval (ACT), Blacktown International Sportspark (NSW), C.ex Coffs International Stadium (Coffs Harbour) (NSW), Lavington Sports Ground (NSW), GMHBA Stadium (VIC), Morwell Recreation Reserve (VIC), Metricon Stadium (QLD), Bennett Oval (Whyalla) (SA), Flinders University Stadium (Noarlunga) (SA), North Hobart Oval (TAS), University of Tasmania Stadium (TAS), Casey Fields (VIC), Ikon Park (VIC), RSEA Park (VIC), Victoria University, Whitten Oval (VIC), David Grays Arena (Mandurah) (WA), Fremantle Oval (WA), Leederville Oval (WA).


West Coast will play St Kilda at Leederville Oval on Friday February 19th and Fremantle in a pre-season derby on March 7th at Rushton Park.


Fremantle's first fixture will be Friday 26th February when they meet Melbourne at Fremantle Oval before finishing with a clash against their local rivals, in what will be the final match of the pre-season competition.


The Marsh Community Series begins with a clash between Geelong and Essendon at GMHBA Stadium on Thursday February 18th.
