Premiership defender re-signs with the Eagles

Eagles premiership defender Tom Cole has re-signed with the club for a further three seasons.

Cole will stick with West Coast despite the clubs poor on-field form so far in 2022.

The 25-year-old said it was never a tough decision for him.

"This club took me in when I was 18. I've loved every moment I've had here and just looking forward to the future and a few more years to my career.

"I just want to be a part of hopefully more success in the future with this club.

"It's been a bit of a tough year this year, but I'm getting older so I have to be more of a leader within the club."

Cole is currently on the clubs inactive list after suffering a serious knee injury at training in February.

West Coast host the Bulldogs at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.
