Prespakis wins AFL Women's MVP

Carlton young gun Madison Prespakis has won the AFL Women's Most Valuable Player Award for the 2020 season.
The 19-year-old was awarded the NAB AFL Women’s Rising Star in 2019 and was last night announced as a member of the 2020 Toyota AFL Women’s All-Australian team.
She polled 15 votes to win by three votes from Fremantle tough nut Kiara Bowers, Emma Kearney (11 votes) a vote further back in third.
Prespakis has won back to back best and fairests at the Blues, having averaged 21 disposals and four clearances per game.
She becomes the first teenager to win football’s highest individual honour since Dick Reynolds in 1934.
