Pucovski subbed out of Shield game

Will Pucovski's future is again under a cloud after suffering another concussion during warm-ups for Victoria's Sheffield Shield clash with South Australia.

Pucovski was struck on the head with a volleyball before the start of the Redbacks second innings.

The 24-year-old was subbed out of the match and replaced by Travis Dean.

Coach Chris Rogers said he started to feel concussion symptoms soon after the incident.

"He came in and spoke to our physio and the doctor and from there we had the concussion sub come in."

"He wanted to see if he could go out and have a hit in the nets, but the symptoms were there and in the end he spoke to the doctor and we felt that it (batting) probably wasn't worth it, and from there it was a case of what do we need to do for him."

This is now the 11th concussion suffered by Pucovski and he will now be monitored over the coming days.
