Reds hold off Western Force

Western Force have fallen just short of toppling the top-of-the-table Queensland Reds 24-31 on Friday night.

The Force raced out of the blocks for a second week in a row to a 14-point lead but were dismantled in just eight minutes when Reds lifted a gear.

Skipper Ian Prior post-game said he was still very proud of his team.

“Disappointed we didn’t come away with the result but certainly building from last week we’re really happy.”
