Ryan rubbed out

West Coast Eagles premiership forward Liam Ryan has been offered a one match ban for rough conduct on Jake Bowey, as part of findings from Match Review Officer Michael Christian on Monday.
Ryan made high contact with Bowey courtesy of a third quarter bump that left the premiership Demon defender down momentarily, the incident assessed as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact and a subsequent one match ban.
Ryan was substituted out of the game late with a hamstring concern, meaning he was unlikely to feature in the round ten clash with Greater Western Sydney.
Eagles defender Jeremy McGovern was handed a $1000 fine for misconduct on Demon midfielder Jack Viney during the second term, while Melbourne forward Kade Chandler was slapped with a two match ban for a dangerous tackle in the final term that left opponent Luke Foley concussed.
West Coast sit 1-8 after nine rounds, having lost by consecutive margins of 53, 84, 109, 75 and 74 points over the past five rounds with a trip to Giants Stadium to play the Giants on Saturday.
