Sage's message to fans

Perth Glory owner Tony Sage has written a message to club fans and stakeholders, addressing media reports surrounding the potential deal to sell a significant stake of the club to the London Football Exchange (LFE).
Sage' who has been the sole owner of the Glory since 2009, said he had not yet arranged a deal with the cryptocurrency group, owned by Jim Aylward.
'No deal has been executed by PGFC with the London Football Exchange.' Sage wrote on the club's website.
'Don't believe fake news. Your club has not been sold and I have not even sent anything to Football Federation Australia (FFA) for approval. Once I am comfortable I will. FFA are aware of my discussions however.'
'If PGFC do sign up NOTHING changes at Perth Glory other than with extra funding, we will be able to compete with the bigger clubs in Australia and Asia.'
Sage is in currently in Zurich, with conversations set to continue surrounding the future ownership of the club.
The Glory team are currently in Tokyo, preparing to open their Asian Champions League (ACL) campaign on Tuesday.
