Schoenfeld stars as Siena's Player of The Day
Former Gold Coast sun Josh Schoenfeld produced his best when most required, winning the Siena's Player of the Day award for round 20 of the WAFL competition in 91.3 Sport FM's game of the day.
Faced with a 23-point deficit early in the second quarter against Subiaco, Schoenfeld stopped the run of Lions goals with an accurate snap, the first of four majors and 24 disposals in a best on ground showing.

Shoenfeld, who only won his spot back at senior level in round 19 after spending time on the sidelines with a knee injury and coming back via the reserves for five matches, looms as a wildcard in the Sharks finals selection mix, able to play a variety of positions as showcased by his performance on Saturday against the Lions.
Shoenfeld played 15 games with the Gold Coast Suns in an injury riddled AFL career from 2016 to 2020, only able to feature in 27 games in three seasons with East Fremantle since his return to the WAFL due to knee and back injuries.
The 27-year old's 24 disposals, 4.2 and 5 inside 50's saw him get the nod from the 91.3 Sport FM commentary team as the Siena's Player of the Day, a key cog in the Sharks 50-point win that saw them sew up top spot on the WAFL ladder and the double chance for finals.
Schoenfeld received a $100 voucher to spend at station sponsor Siena's in Leederville as the best player afield, as awarded each week by the 91.3 Sport FM commentary team.
