Scott claims Aus PGA title

Adam Scott has broken his title draught after claiming his second Australian PGA title at Royal Pines.

Scott had not won a tournament since 2016 and was made to work hard for it.

The 2013 US Masters winner birdied on the 14th and eagled the par five 15th hole to finish 13-under to roar home over the top of New Zealand's Michael Hendry at 11-under.

West Aussie Min Woo Lee finished tied third at 10-under alongside Wade Ormsby, Cameron Davis, Nick Flanagan and Yuan Yechun.

“After a good save on 12 it was time to do something,’’ Scott said.

“This has been a long time coming.”
