Sheed and Ah Chee to return for Eagles

Dom Sheed and Brendon Ah Chee will return for the Eagles game against North Melbourne this weekend.

Defender Jeremy McGovern is expected to be available for the first final in two and a half weeks time after going down on the stroke of half-time against the Saints with a hamstring injury.

Eagles General Manager of Football Craig Vozzo said the scans showed a significant strain.

“He’s probably looking at a three-to-four week period but tracking really well. Early signs are good, moving around quite well already and we’re on the up.”

Skipper Luke Shuey (hamstring), Lewis Jetta (calf), Jack Redden (thumb), Elliott Yeo (groin) and Mark Hutchings (hamstring) are also pushing for selection for the first week of the finals.
