Sheffield Shield fixtures adjusted

Western Australia will now play Tasmania in their next Sheffield Shield match, as Cricket Australia announced adjusted fixtures for rounds three and four on Monday.

Adam Voges' side was initially scheduled to play New South Wales for the second time in as many matches at Karen Rolton Oval, having played the Blues at Gladys Elphick Park as part of round two.

They will now play the Tigers back at the same venue, the Blues to play Queensland at Karen Rolton Oval and South Australia to host Victoria in their first Shield game of the summer at ACH Group Stadium in Glenelg.

The Vics have had their season start delayed due to having to undertake two weeks of quarantine upon arrival in South Australia, only playing two games as part of the first block of fixtures before the Big Bash.

Western Australia will play Victoria in round four at Karen Rolton Oval, South Australia playing Queensland and Tasmania taking on New South Wales in the final round of fixtures before the Big Bash.
