Swiatek makes light work of Grauff in women's final

World number one Iga Swiatek has thrashed American Coco Grauff 6-1, 6-3 to win the French Open women's singles title in just 68-minutes.

It's the second grand slam title for 21-year-old Swiatek who took the number one mantle after Ash Barty's retirement.

Swiatek has now won 35 consecutive matches equally Venus Williams streak back in 2000.

"Two years ago, winning this title was something amazing. Honestly, I wouldn't expect it, ever," Swiatek said.

"But this time, I feel like I worked hard and did everything to get here, even though it was pretty tough. The pressure was big."
