Tigers ruckman claims Siena's WAFL Player of the Round

Ollie Eastland can’t wait for his big test in the first semifinal on Sunday.

The Claremont ruckman is in the best form of his career but has a massive challenge when he takes on Subiaco veteran Zac Clarke at Leederville Oval.

“I’ve got Zac next week,” Eastland said after helping Claremont beat East Perth in the elimination final.

“I can’t wait.”

Eastland joined Clarke as a winner of the SportFM Siena’s Restaurant player of the round after his dominant display against the Royals.

The big left-footer had 40 hit-outs and 21 disposals, while his physical presence against East Perth giant Jedd Edwards was a key to his team’s hard-fought 12-point win.

“Jedd is really coming on and he made my life hard all day,” Eastland said.

Siena’s will provide a $100 voucher to the best player in the SportFM match of the round this season.
