WA defeat NSW to win WNCL
Western Australia have created history in the Women's National Cricket League defeating the New South Wales Breakers at North Sydney Oval by 42-runs to claim their first ever title.
It was the third time in 24-years that WA had made the final without being successful until now.
The visitors posted 231 and dismissed the Breakers for 189 to get one back on NSW who defeated them in the final back in 2017-18.
Nicole Bolton top scored (67 from 107 balls) and captured three wickets to be named player of the match.
Emma King and Heather Graham also claimed three wickets each with the ball.
